Writing letters to Santa Claus is a Christmas tradition. In many homes every year, children sit down with their parents to write a beautiful message to Santa. In the letter, the little ones usually ask Santa for particular gifts that they would like to receive. They are usually helped by adults in writing their letters. As soon as the task is completed, the envelope can of course be left on the windowsill or posted to Santa's address. Where does Santa live?

Santa Claus lives in the northern part of Finland, in his village in Rovaniemi in Lapland. It is here that Santa prepares all the presents, he also has a factory in which he is helped by the Elves, receives visitors and replies to letters. There's no denying that the Rovaniemi address is the most famous of all possible locations where to send your letter, but it is not the only one.

It's worth remembering that Santa's village in Rovaniemi is open every day except for national holidays, but also Christmas Eve! This is the time when Santa Claus is no longer in Lapland because he sets out to bring gifts to children.

Office of Santa Claus in Poland

Interestingly, those who do not want to send their letter abroad can also use the Polish address. Santa's Village is located in Srebrna Góra. It is a village located in the commune of Stoszowice and for many years it has functioned as Santa's office, operated by the local Commune Sports and Leisure Centre (GOKSiR).  It is worth adding that the office receives letters not only from Poland. This address is also popular with children from other countries, including Russia or even China. 
So if you want to send a letter to Santa Claus in Poland, the address on the envelope should read:

The interesting thing is that you don't have to write a specific address. Just put the words: "Santa Claus", "North Pole" on the envelope. Some children draw a picture of an elderly man with a grey beard on the envelope. All such letters, including those with drawings, are immediately forwarded by Polish Post to the address of GOKSiR in Srebrna Góra.

It's a good idea to sit down with your child and write a letter to Santa in which your little one greets him and also asks for particular gifts.
