How do you start a letter to Santa?

Most children have trouble starting a letter. They often do not know how to begin the letter to Santa. So it's good to help your child a little. How to Start a Letter?

  • Of course, at the beginning, you should address Santa, for example: Dear Santa Claus.
  • In the first paragraph children can write a few words about themselves, for example: My name is Ola and I am 6 years old I'm Mateusz and I'm in the second grade

The next part of the letter is a few words about themselves. It's nice if children write what hobbies they have, what subject in school they like best or tell about their recent adventures, etc.

What to Write to Santa?

Of course, the main part of a letter to Santa is a wish list. However, remember that Santa only visits well-behaved children. So children should write that they have been polite and hope to be on the list of good kids. Children can also tell Santa what good deeds they did, e.g. that they cleaned up toys, helped parents and friends, were kind to others, etc.

Wish list – What Should It Look Like?

It's best to have your child number the gifts, from the one they dream of to the ones they care less about. For each gift, the child can also write instructions for Santa, for example, on the colour or size – so Santa will certainly not get confused. Ideally, there should be 3 – 4 gifts on the list.

Concluding a Letter to Santa

The letter needs to end in an elegant way. How? It's best to simply greet Santa, wish him to give all the gifts quickly, and sign a letter, e.g.

Best regards

Ola
Kisses, Kasia
Hope you give the gifts soon. Kind regards

Mateusz

Decorating a Letter to Santa

Once the children have finished the letter, they can move on to the next step, which is decorating. The letter can be decorated with colourful, hand-drawn pictures, stickers, glitter – there are many ways to do so. A child can draw a Christmas tree, gifts and much, much more – it all depends on the creativity of a child.

Addressing the Letter

The final issue is addressing the letter. A child should address the letter himself so that he learns how to do it correctly. Fortunately, there is a Santa Claus Office in Poland, from which all letters are forwarded to Lapland. This significantly reduces the time it takes for the letter to reach the addressee. What address to put on the envelope?
